Georgia Bulldogs Earn Four-Star Recruiting Commitment From Former USC Commit

The Georgia Bulldogs turned heads on the recruiting trail on Tuesday. The Bulldogs landed a commitment from former USC Trojans commit Jadon Perlotte.

The USC recruiting loss adds to a tough stretch for the program on the recruiting trail. The Trojans lost another commitment to the Bulldogs just a day earlier with top cornerback Dominick Kelly.

For Georgia, Perlotte adds a high ceiling linebacker to its future roster from the 2025 recruiting class. The Buford (GA) native ranks as the No. 20 linebacker and No. 165 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings.

Georgia's track record of top defensive development might have worked in its favor with Perlotte. Out of the 33 Bulldogs players drafted over its last three NFL draft classes, 17 have been defensive players.

The addition adds to Georgia's Top 3 class for 2025 as it pursues a No. 1 recruiting class for the cycle.

The Bulldogs open the 2024 season against the Clemson Tigers on Aug. 31.
