No. 3 Wide Receiver In Florida Vernell Brown III Names Top Four Schools

Four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III announced his final four schools on Tuesday. The 5-foot-10.5, 170-pound wide receiver is from Wildwood, Florida.

Brown's top schools are Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, and Florida.

Brown is the No. 60 overall prospect and No. 9 wide receiver in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 3 wide receiver and No. 7 player in Florida, according to the On3 industry rankings .

Brown finished his junior season with 70 receptions for 1,404 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns. He also scored four touchdowns as a return specialist and recorded over 2,000 all-purpose yards.

Brown has official visits set to all four finalists. He will visit Ohio State on May 31 before taking an official visit to Miami on June 11. He will conclude his official visits with a trip to Florida on June 14 and Florida State on June 21.
