Aaron Rodgers’ Blunt Response To Rumored ‘Turmoil’ with Jets Star

Whether it's because he's getting ready to play in the New York market, due to his NFL superstar status, or both, a lot of what Aaron Rodgers has done this offseason has been placed under a microscope. That happens with Rogers even when it's not 100% clear what is actually going on.

Multiple video clips of Jets training camp practices in July appeared to have displayed Rodgers and the team's top wide receiver, Garrett Wilson, arguing.

But Rodgers said during an appearance on NFL Network's "Up and Adams" Wednesday that that's not what's actually happening.

"It's a lot of bulls***," Rodgers told host Kay Adams. "You know that. Come on. There's always stories to be made up.

"I talked to G about this. There's appearance and there's the reality. What it appears to be, can be taken and you can run with it. But the reality was, you can't really tell."

Rodgers told Adams that the second video that came out where he and Wilson were reportedly arguing looked more like they were teasing and laughing with each other.

Essentially, the quarterback summarized any reports that there's "turmoil" between himself and Wilson as "a whole lot of nothing."

"There are good conversations that we have when the fans and the media is not zooming in on us," Rogers continued to tell Adams. "He's a passionate guy. I'm a passionate guy. But a lot of that stuff is literally not what the reality is.

"Actually, the appearance doesn't even really match what was said out there, I think, to a lot of extent. If you look at our faces, you can kind of see in the second video I'm laughing at him."

Jets fans hope Rodgers and Wilson do a lot of laughing at the expense of the team's opponents during the 2024 season.
