Chiefs Owner's Wife Asked for Prayers After Daughter Fell Down Mountain
By Emily Bicks,

While the Kansas City Chiefs work hard in training camp, the team's co-owner and CEO Clark Hunt received unfortunate news regarding his daughter, Ava Hunt.
Ava, the youngest of Hunt's three children with his wife, Tavia Hunt, graduated from high school in May, and starts college at Southern Methodist University later this month. Before kicking off her freshman year, Ava took an unfortunate fall during a hike.
Tavia shared the news on her Instagram Stories. "This little thang fell down the mountain today on a hike🥾 & went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound 😢,” she believe a photo with her daughter. "It’s been a looong day. Praise God she's in recovery and already smiling. Please pray for a quick & complete recovery."
A few hours later, while watching U.S. gymnast Simone Biles compete in the Individual Beam Finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Ava shared positive news on her recovery status.
"Update: surgery went very smoothly and I’m back at home watching my favorite @simonebiles!!," she posted on her Instagram Stories. I'm feeling great (but I might still be a little drugged up 😆). Thank you for all your sweet messages and prayers!! 🤍."
Hopefully, the Chiefs heiress, who's committed to cheerleading at SMU, heals quickly. A few days before her fateful hike, Ava attended country music star Morgan Wallen's concert at Arrowhead Stadium with her older sister, Gracie Hunt.
Wallen opened the show by walking out on stage with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and defensive tackle Chris Jones.
Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, who's pregnant with the couple's third child, also attended Wallen's concert.
