NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Monday that three-time Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons is visiting the Saints this week, giving the New Orleans Saints the chance to strengthen their roster for the 2024–25 NFL season.

Simmons was released by the Denver Broncos in a cost-cutting move but is still one of the more prominent free agents that has been on the market this off-season. Now, he is looking for a home before preseason starts this week.

If the Saints make a move for Simmons, the idea of pairing him alongside Tyrann Mathieu is an intriguing scene for head coach Dennis Allen.

In eight seasons with the Broncos, Simmons has racked up 603 tackles, 4.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, 30 interceptions, and 64 pass deflections.

This would be a massive signing for the Saints on a team-friendly deal. Simmons could bring an immense impact right away for a team that needs it.
