Report: Vikings work out 3 wide receivers

The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly worked out three wide receivers in training camp this week.

According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson , Deon Cain, Dax Milne and Justin Hall all worked out for the team on the Vikings' off day on Monday.

However, one of the three — Milne — signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday and is no longer an option.

Minnesota has a room full of wide receivers, but it could be speculated the workouts were welcomed as Jordan Addison could face a possible suspension from the team after he was charged with DUI . He was found allegedly asleep at the wheel near LAX in his parked car last month .

None of the mentioned receivers has yet to sign with the team as of Wednesday.

Cain has the most experience of the three, as he was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft from Clemson. He saw little action with multiple teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. He then went to the Birmingham Stallions in the UFL, where he had the ninth-most receiving yards (436) in the league.

If we're talking UFL accomplishments, Hall takes that crown, as he finished third in the league with 604 yards while on the Houston Roughnecks. Hall went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft and signed with the Raiders but was waived in final roster cuts before that season started.

Milne was drafted in seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders and appeared in 28 games over two seasons. He recorded 15 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown while also serving as the team's punt and kickoff returner during the 2022 season. He spent the entirety of the 2023 season on injured reserve.

The Vikings wide receiver room currently consists of Justin Jefferson, Addison, Jalen Nailor, Brandon Powell, Trishton Jackson, Trent Sherfield, Sr., Jeshaun Jones, Lucky Jackson, Thayer Thomas, Malik Knowles and Ty James.
