Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett was shipped off to the Philadelphia Eagles after a disappointing season under center in 2023.

Along with fellow signal-caller Mason Rudolph, Pickett was sent packing by Khan and the Steelers in an attempt to rebuild the position.

The former No. 20 overall pick in 2022, struggled in Pittsburgh as the starter and is now reportedly not catching on quickly in Philadelphia, either.

Former Dallas Cowboys and current Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore updated the QB2 battle behind starter Jalen Hurts.

“Tanner is doing an awesome job. Kenny is doing an awesome job,” Moore said. “Really two independent things. It’s not necessarily that they’re associated with each other. I think both of those guys are having really good camps.

“We try and mix and match these things to give yourself a different perspective for these guys. Kenny has handled it awesome. Tanner has handled it awesome. It’s been really good for these guys.”

Pickett's competition for QB2 is Tanner McKee, a sixth-round pick of Philly's last year.

Both are learning a new offense under Moore, who arrives for his first season in Philadelphia after stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers.
