Olympic icon Nadia Comaneci has already put the Olympics on blast after watching fellow Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu get stripped of a bronze medal in the floor final on Monday.

According to Comaneci, she has been left in disbelief by how "we play with athletes mental health and emotions like this," in reference to Barbosu losing her place on the podium after the judges changed American gymnast Jordan Chiles' final score to give the latter the bronze medal.

It was not just Barbosu who was supposedly robbed, though, as 17-year-old Romanian gymnast Sabrina Voinea was also denied a place on the podium because of the controversial Chiles decision.

Both Barbosu and Voinea finished with a score of 13.700, which was tied for third before Chiles' score was changed to 13.766 after a successful inquiry with the judges.

For her part, however, Voinea was penalized with a 0.1 deduction after supposedly stepping out of bounds during her routine -- a notion that Comaneci clearly disagrees with.

"I don’t see the heel touching down.. do you? #sabrinavoinea " Comaneci wrote in the caption of her tweet showing a video of Voeinea's controversial moment.

One of the comments on Comaneci's post read, " @olympicromania you should formally appeal the decision!" The retired Olympian reposted the comment, indicating her agreement with this call to action.

The Romanian Olympic Committee has reportedly filed a formal appeal to the Olympics over Voinea's point deduction, which means that Comaneci's outcry has been heard.

Whether or not the Olympics' governing body acts on this issue, however, is an altogether different matter.
