Training camp is now in the books, and it's officially game-time fo

r the Las Vegas Raiders . They'll have their first live-game action on Saturday night, and they'll get a couple more games to shake the rust off before the season officially begins in about a month.

With camp now in the books, it's time to see how their work translates onto the field. We've heard reports about the defense, the quarterback situation, and everything in between . Every fan has their own opinion of camp based on what they've seen.

If you asked the team's head coach, Antonio Pierce, about his view of his roster after camp, he'd have some good things to tell you. He shared some of those in an interview after a recent practice:

“We have grit and we’re tough... We’ve had close to 800 team reps. These guys haven’t blinked, there’s been no complaining … we don’t have guys trying to get out of practice. We’ve got a mentally tough team and we’ve got a team that is pissed off and wants to prove a lot of people wrong.”

Pierce thinks the team has really come together over the course of camp, and that the roster is tougher and closer than they were before it.

In that sense, you could call the team's training camp a success. While the quarterbacks have struggled , there really isn't much of anything to complain about across the rest of the roster.

The offensive line has improved as camp has gone on, the skill positions have looked good, and the defense as a whole has been impressive.

Of course, all of these conclusions are based on reports, and we'll have to see what happens once the team takes the field in an actual game. Still, you can see why Pierce is as satisfied as he is with the current roster.
