Three Nebraska Cornhuskers are headed to the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics after the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team outlasted Brazil on Thursday.

The back-and-forth match went to five sets but Team USA was able to hang on and take down the top-ranked team in the world, securing their spot in Saturday’s gold medal final, where they’ll look to defend their Olympic title.

Former Huskers Justine Wong-Orantes had 10 digs and six successful receptions, Jordan Larson had one of each as well as one point, and Kelsey Robinson Cook had two digs and receptions each.

Their opponent in the championship match will be either Turkey or Italy.

The gold medal match is scheduled to start at 6 a.m. (CT) on Sunday.
