Team USA narrowly escaped a brutal loss to Nikola Jokic and the Serbia national team in the Paris Olympics on Thursday. Serbia played out of their minds but LeBron James, Joel Embiid, and Stephen Curry were too much to handle.

However, NBA fans couldn't help but notice the blunders Team USA made throughout the contest. It led to many roasting head coach, Steve Kerr, who has received plenty of flack during the Olympic games as is.

Fans took to social media, especially at the end of the third quarter, when Serbia held a double-digit lead over Team USA. For the most part, fans are questioning whether or not Kerr is fit to be head coach. Some even claim that Kerr is being exposed in the Olympics this year.

Jayson Tatum's lack of play became even more noticeable against Serbia.

Michael Jordan must have bought a plane ticket.

NBA fans were watching Kerr like Simone Biles!

Kerr has been rather stubborn with the rotation this year.

Will Kerr still be coaching Team USA in 2028?

It's hard to argue with this point.

This marks the second time in the Olympics that Tatum received no playing time. It's a bit bizarre considering he played out of his mind leading the Boston Celtics to a championship just shy of two months ago.

Despite that, Team USA lives to see another day after taking down Jokic and the Serbia national team 95-91. USA is now set to take on France for the gold medal. Meanwhile, Serbia will face off against Germany for bronze.

Team USA went berserk in the fourth quarter to comeback down 13 points. Embiid, James, Curry, and Kevin Durant proved to be the difference-makers in the closing minutes of the contest. Despite the hate Kerr has received, the team was able to get the job done against Serbia.

Curry led the way for Team USA recording an impressive 36 points and eight rebounds. Additionally, James helped the USA in a major way after securing a 16 point, 12 rebound, 10 assist triple-double. But Embiid did the dirty work, as his efforts pushed Team USA to victory after ending the day with 19 points, four rebounds, and a block.

The U.S. takes on France on August 10 at 3:30 P.M. Eastern. It should be a fun contest as France's trajectory continues to trend up. Victor Wembanyama has been a menace throughout the Olympics and he'll have a chance to prove himself against Team USA and several NBA superstars.
