Team USA Sends Strong Message to Steph Curry After Iconic Performance Against Serbia

Team USA had a simple reminder of Steph Curry's brilliance after his offensive explosion in a semifinal win over Serbia on August 8.

"THIRTY-SIX POINTS," the U.S. men's basketball team shared in a post on X after the Golden State Warriors star sparked a furious comeback in the 95-91 win, pushing the United States to the gold medal game in the Paris Olympics.

Team USA trailed by as many as 17 points and were down 12 early in the fourth quarter before a massive comeback in the final frame, with the United States outscoring Serbia 32-15 in the final quarter. Curry led the way with 36 points on 12-of-19 shooting, including 9-of-14 from behind the three-point arc.

This is Curry's first trip to the Summer Games, and his 36 points set a single-game high for the entire Paris Olympics.

With the win, Team USA will advance to the gold medal game, where they will face  Victor Wembanyama and host country France.
