With his brother and podcast partner, Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro Center Jason Kelce now retired, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is still going strong.

Originally drafted out of Cincinnati by the Chiefs in the 2013 NFL Draft, Kelce has done anything and everything anyone could ever want to do in the NFL.

Kelce is widely considered one of the greatest tight ends to lace up a pair of cleats, and even with all the accomplishment and 10 surgeries that he’s had in his career, he just keeps on trucking.

"He’s been beat up," NFL Insider Albert Breer wrote about Kelce. "He’s accomplished everything a guy at his position can. And yet, at 34 years old, he hasn’t missed a single day of practice in St. Joe when he could easily go to head coach Andy Reid and the coaches and ask for veteran days here and there to recharge.

“That, in turn, sets a tone for everyone else in camp on the importance of being on the field each day as the season nears."

If Kelce retired today, just like his brother, he is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. There’s no question about that. Earlier this offseason, he commented that he thinks he’s definitely playing these next two seasons on his contract.

    After that, who knows?

He could be engaged and getting ready to marry Taylor Swift by then. Kelce turns 35 in October, and the toll that football has taken on his body will start to add up sooner or later.

He says he wants to win a “couple more Super Bowls” before he’s done. For now, he’s content being one of the best in the game and a three-time Super Bowl champ. Father time waits for nobody, and eventually it will catch up to him.

    But not right now.
