Stephen Curry had the perfect timing to have his breakout performance in his first time Olympic journey.

The future Hall of Famer stepped up big time for Team USA on Thursday, as he led the Americans to a 95-91 come-from-behind win over Nikola Jokic and Serbia in the semifinals of the men’s basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Team USA was down by as many as 17 points against Serbia, but it found a way to cut down the big deficit and eventually escape with the victory, thanks in large part to the hot hands of Curry, who added another memorable performance to his ever-expanding basketball canon.

"This is the most fun I've had in a very long time, to dig deep like we did with this group and get a win, it’s special," Curry said following the Team USA’s dramatic triumph, per NBC.

Curry dropped 36 points in the semifinal game, making 12 of his 19 attempts from the field, including nine 3-pointers. Serbia was hot as well from behind the arc, as it drained 15 triples on a 38.5 percent success rate. Fortunately for Team USA, it had the greatest shooter in history to soften the blow of Serbia’s incredible shooting.

Curry and Team USA need one more win to take home the gold. They will play France on Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris.
