The Buffalo Bills are competing with the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins when it comes to AFC East supremacy.

The doormat of the division now, surprisingly enough, belons to the New England Patriots. In the post Tom Brady era, New England has tried to find their next franchise quarterback.

It's also the reason why some of the NFL's top players may be apprehensive of going there.

That's the case when it comes to Brandon Aiyuk.

Despite looking for a new home with a mega-contract extension, the top 49ers wide receiver has decided to not list the Patriots as one of the teams he'd be willing to go to.

New England, it has been reported by multiple outlets, offered Aiyuk a contract worth over $30 million - a contract that would've been the second-highest in the NFL to date.

So why didn't Aiyuk want to go to the Patriots?

Whether it's the rookie uncertainty of Drake Maye, or the veteran mediocre style of Jacoby Brissett, the Patriots don't really know what the future of their quarterback room holds.

It's why Aiyuk wants to be anywhere else other than the AFC East.

That's great news for the Bills at this point. They know they won't have to worry about the Patriots anytime soon.
