Mark Pope and the Kentucky staff had to hit the ground running in the transfer portal. Among those he got includes a couple of defensive juggernaut's, shooters, and facilitators. But, out of all of those, there could be one who will be standing out from the rest next season. Jaxson Robinson, BYU's best player last season, could be a star at Kentucky next season.

The Field of 68 recently released their top 25 Impact Transfers heading into next season. Among the top players on the list is none other than Kentucky's Jaxson Robinson, who is ranked 8th on the list. Those over him include Coleman Hawkins (Kansas State), Oumar Ballo (Indiana), Norchad Omier (Baylor), AJ Storr (Kansas), Kadary Richmond (St. John's), Cliff Omoruyi (Alabama), and Johnell Davis (Arkansas).

Robinson has been seen as a massive get for Mark Pope heading into his first season at Kentucky. After his impressive season last year at BYU, there's no reason not to think Robinson could have a big season in Lexington. Along with that, KSR's Matt Jones recently shared what he has been hearing about summer practices so far, and among the highlights, Jones says Robinson is looking like Kentucky's best player. "I think it was so huge we got him," Jones said on KSR. "I’m told he is our best player and it’s not close."

Mark Pope looks to have made a huge splash in the transfer portal with Robinson, surrounding him with other impressive transfers that seem to be playing well together so far in practices, and we're still a couple of months away from the start of the season.
