With the first full week of the preseason now fully underway, it's officially time for teams around the league to start getting their problems figured out before the season begins.

With that in mind, Bleacher Report recently released an article in which they listed one issue on every NFL team's roster, that they need to figure out during the preseason.

For the Las Vegas Raiders , they suggested the team should fix the quarterback situation.

This is not really a surprise, since the quarterback room has been the talk of the offseason for the Raiders so far. The reason for that, unfortunately for the Raiders, isn't good.

Neither of Gardner Minshew or Aidan O'Connell has been able to earn a bonafide starting role up to this point in their careers, although they're each in different spots.

In their analysis, Bleacher Report mentions that O'Connell was pretty solid in his rookie season, but that he served in more of a game-manager role.

They lay out the situation pretty simply, claiming that the Raiders really just need one of these quarterbacks to be an above-average player, who can get the most out of talents on the team like Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Brock Bowers, Zamir White and more.

Bleacher Report also mentions a quote from head coach Antonio Pierce:

"Who goes out first and who goes out second really doesn't matter."

Here, Pierce is signaling an open competition, and claiming it doesn't really matter which one of them starts the game, and which one comes in second.

For the Raiders' sake, the team hopes one of these two can develop into a quality quarterback for the team in 2024.
