Stars Flooded Arena to Support Women's Team USA Semifinal Matchup Vs. Australia

The Women's USA team just beat out Australia 85-64 in the semifinals against Australia. They're now set to take on either France or Belgium for the gold medal on Sunday. However, there was plenty of attention surrounding Friday's game, as the stands were filled with some of the biggest sports stars in the U.S.

There were several stars from the Men's USA team showing their support, including Kevin Durant and Bam Adebayo. Additionally, Carmelo Anthony was in attendance, who watched the men's team take down Serbia on Thursday.

On top of that, Vanessa Bryant and her daughters were in attendance to support the Women's basketball team. They sat down next to WNBA legend Sue Bird, and Women's Soccer legend Megan Rapinoe. You can also see women's basketball coach, Dawn Staley as well.

Some different angles for those in attendance of Friday's game.

Although the Women's USA team caused a stir before the Paris Olympics for excluding Caitlin Clark, they've still managed to reel in plenty of star power to their games. On top of that, they've been balling out throughout the Olympics as well.

They proved to be the better team against Australia. Through five games played this summer, the Women's team has beaten all five opponents by double-digits. They're just one win away from securing gold. Meanwhile, Australia will face off against the loser between France and Belgium for the bronze medal. Both the gold and bronze medal games will be played on Sunday, August 11.

Breanna Stewart led the way for Team USA with 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists. However, A'Ja Wilson dominated in her own right. Wilson was a dominant presence in the post on both ends of the floor. She finished the contest with 10 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, and two steals.

Another impressive performance came from star point guard, Jackie Young. Her play was wildly efficient. Young finished the USA-Australia game with 14 points shooting 75 percent from the floor. She also recorded five assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

France and Belgium face off on Friday at 3 P.M. Eastern. So, Team USA will likely be tuned into that contest to see who they will take on for the gold medal. The bronze medal game will be aired on Sunday, August 11 at 5:30 A.M. Eastern while the gold medal game is scheduled for 9:30 A.M. Eastern that same day.

The Women's USA team is seeking its eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal. The win over Australia marked the team's 60th straight win in the Olympics. It's currently the longest winning streak in women's Olympic basketball.
