Deion Sanders Shuts Down Major Network During Fall Camp Press Conference

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders made his feelings known to a reporter from a major outlet during a fall camp press conference on Friday.

Sanders, entering his second season in Boulder, cut off the reporter as soon as he heard the words "CBS Sports."

"CBS, I’m not doing nothing with CBS," Sanders said. "Next question. Ain’t got nothing to do with you, this is above that... I got love for you. I appreciate and respect you. Ain’t got nothing to do with you. They know what they did."

Coach Prime did not go into detail about the source of his feelings for CBS. The reporter noted that he did not work nationally, but Sanders doubled-down and rejected the opportunity for a question.

"You are who you are," Sanders said. "CBS is CBS."

CBS recently ranked Sanders as the second-worst head coach in the Big 12 and referred to him as an "entertainer" rather than a head coach. It's unclear if these references are what Sanders called "foul".

"Ain’t got nothing to do with you," he said. "I respect you. That’s why I told you that. I’m looking you in the eyes as a man. And I respect you, and I’ve got love for you. But what they did was foul."

The Buffaloes enter their first season in the Big 12 Conference off a six-game losing streak to end the 2023 season. Colorado will open 2024 against North Dakota State at home on Aug. 29. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
