Caitlin Clark's Two-Word Reaction to Tyler Herro Wearing Her Jersey Goes Viral

Caitlin Clark fever continues to swirl around the basketball world.

The Indiana Fever superstar has earned the respect many through her record-breaking college basketball career and her already-impressive rookie campaign as the WNBA's No. 1 overall pick.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro is the most recent athlete to show his respect for Clark's greatness.

Herro recently posted a photo of himself rocking Clark's iconic No. 22 Iowa Hawkeyes jersey — the same jersey in which she set the all-time NCAA scoring record.

Clark took to the comment section with a simple message for the sixth-year NBA pro.

"Last slide [fire emojis]," the WNBA All-Star wrote.

Clark is the leading candidate to win this year's WNBA Rookie of the Year award. Through the first half of her rookie season, the Indiana guard is averaging a league-leading 8.2 assists per game. She also leads all rookies in scoring with 17.1 points per game.

Herro missed half of the Heat's 2023-24 campaign as he dealt with injury issues. Through 42 games, the 24-year-old shooting guard averaged a career-high 20.8 points per game.

Clark and the Fever will resume their 2024 WNBA season with a matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on August 16.
