Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles has indicated that most of the starters will not play on Saturday, including quarterback Baker Mayfield. That means backup Kyle Trask will get the nod under center.

Per Bowles, we can expect to see some rookies like center Graham Barton and wideout Jalen McMillan. Both have been penciled in as starters this upcoming season.

Bowles says decisions on the other starter will be made on a week-to-week basis.

For the Bengals, it's a different story. Coach Zac Taylor says some of his starters will play, including quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow was sidelined last season with a wrist injury but was also slowed by a calf injury earlier in the year.

"I'm excited for it," Burrow said about playing Saturday. "I'm excited to get these reps and have these reps to get better right now."

The Bucs hope the preseason launches them to a fourth straight NFC South title and a deeper playoff run than the Division Round loss to the Detroit Lions last season, while the Bengals look to bounce back from a 9-8 season where they missed the playoffs after losing Burrow after 10 weeks.
