LeBron James' Reaction to Sha'Carri Richardson's Gold Medal Victory Says It All

Sha'Carri Richardson's victory in the women's 4x100m relay final was historic, emotional, and everything in between.

Richardson clinched her first-ever Olympic gold medal, propelling the U.S. from behind in the final lap to seize the win in the relay.

The 100-meter silver medalist surpassed competitors from Britain and Germany, aiding the U.S. team to a finish time of 41.78 seconds, narrowly securing a win by .07 seconds over Britain, which faced challenges with two baton exchanges amid the rain.

By the time Richardson received the baton from Gabby Thomas, the U.S. was in third place. Richardson had the task of catching up to Daryll Neita of Britain and Rebekka Haase of Germany. Once she overtook them, she cast a backward glance to her right, a look that conveyed, "You're not catching me."

She dashed the final eight steps down the track, and with the ninth, she thrust her left leg over the finish line and unleashed a scream knowing she finished first.

Richardson's victory inspired a lot of reactions from U.S. fans, most notably NBA superstar LeBron James, who is waiting to appear in the gold medal game for Team USA against hosts France on Aug. 10.

Having witnessed Richardson's victory, James took to Instagram and posted his reaction to congratulate her.

Always great to receive praise from one of the greatest athletes of all time. And for Richardson, having James recognize for her achievements is quite the honor.

Even though she didn't go perfect with all gold in the Olympics, she gets to close out her time in Paris with a bang.
