Levi Rogers added to Rimington Trophy Watch List

Stanford's most experienced offensive lineman, Levi Rogers, is poised for a huge season in his sixth year with the program. He was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List as one of the best offensive linemen in the country.

Rogers played 890 snaps at center for the Cardinal last season, and in the year before, he played 711 snaps at right guard, per PFF. He only allowed one sack on 564 pass-blocking snaps last season. He's expected to remain at center this fall.

The ACC has nine centers represented on the Rimington Trophy watch list as Rogers is joined by Zeke Correll (NC State), Weston Franklin (Georgia Tech), Drew Kendall (Boston College), Pete Nygra (Louisville), Justin Osborne (SMU), Luke Petitbon (Wake Forest), Maurice Smith (Florida State), and Brian Stevens (Virginia).

For Stanford to reach its goals this season, keeping junior quarterback Ashton Daniels is critical. Rogers will have a huge part to play in that effort. A Stanford offensive lineman has never won the Rimington Trophy, but Rogers will hope to change that this fall.
