Despite the fact that Caitlin Clark is still mid-way through her rookie year, fans can't help but look forward to what's ahead for the Indiana Fever superstar. The buzz has now intensified following a major announcement from Minnesota Lynx All-Star and Unrivaled 3x3 League co-founder Napheesa Collier.

On Friday, Collier dropped a crucial update on the participants of the Unrivaled League, which is set to debut this coming offseason. The Lynx forward fielded questions from fans on X, formerly Twitter, about the league, and one of the responses that stood out centered around the rookies who are going to take part in the tournament.

When asked how many rookies will be joining the league, Collier revealed --using a Snoop Dogg meme -- that they already have four commits "and counting."

Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese was previously announced as a participant in the league, which had the fans guessing about the other three rookies that have already been signed.

Naturally, this led to supporters believing that Clark was well on her way to Unrivaled, too.

"I want CC to maximize her earnings on or off the court whatever that entails," said a fan. "Unrivaled doesn’t do that but I love the concept. I want to see European teams bid into the millions. $4 million no I’ll pay $5 million 💰! That would be legendary!"

"The 'and counting' means they are still tryna work the percentages out with Caitlin’s lawyers 😭" surmised a supporter.

"If they payin 250k a year dat wouldn’t be possible without Clark in it let’s be honest," read a comment.

"If Aliyah Boston goes you can bet Caitlin goes as well," said another.

"That league will NEED CC for viewership.. without her no one’s watching lol," reacted a fan.

Apart from Angel Reese and Collier herself, the other confirmed Unrivaled participants are Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard, Kahleah Copper, and Jackie Young. Breanna Stweart, who is also a co-founder of the league, will also play.

That's some serious star power right there, but adding Clark, who is currently the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award behind averages of 17.1 points , 5.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game, to the roster would doubtlessly boost this league's popularity.
