After winning the gold medal in the 4x100 relay and rallying the United States back in the race, Sha’Carri Richardson’s nails stood out to the entire world at the Paris Olympics.

Richardson is known for wearing her nails longer than others, and she stands on them, embraces them, and expresses herself with them. She did just that on Friday.

On one thumb, it read, “I’m not back.” while the other thumb read, “I’m better.”

She claimed her first gold medal and will be a force to be reckoned with in 2028, when the Olympics are in Los Angeles.

USA's Sha'Carri Richardson celebrates winning gold after competing in the 4x100 women's relay.

Richardson is still just 24 years old, and is one of the best women’s track and field stars in the world, and is one of the few bright spots for a United States track team that has struggled in many facets while in Paris.

Nonetheless, Sha'Carri Richardson was historic and accomplished something that many thought she never would. With the odds stacked against her, she stood tall.
