Caleb Williams Completes Patrick Mahomes-esque Pass in Preseason Debut

Caleb Williams looked the part in his preseason debut with the Chicago Bears on Saturday.

The NFL's No. 1 overall pick took the field for the first time in a preseason matchup against the Buffalo Bills. And in his first drive, he delivered some stellar highlight plays.

One play in particular drew the attention of NFL fans.

Williams has drawn some flattering comparisons to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes due to his escapability and unique arm talent.

The pocket collapsed on Williams during his first drive. Instead of taking the sack, the former Heisman Trophy winner flipped an unconventional forward pass to running back De'Andre Swift for a big gain.

NFL fans saw a lot of Mahomes in this play.

The Bears lead the Bills 6-0 at the end of the first quarter.
