Bills Get Last Laugh After New Stefon Diggs Video Emerges

It took just one preseason game for Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs to show his true colors.

A video made the rounds on social media from Houston’s 20-12 preseason win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday in which Diggs can be seen seemingly venting some type of frustration on the sidelines with second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud midway through the first quarter.

Houston's first-team offense was on the field for just six plays. Stroud completed 2 of 4 passes for 41 yards and a touchdown (which went to Tank Dell), and Diggs wasn't targeted once.

While the clip isn’t nearly as incriminating as some of the ones out there from Diggs' time in Buffalo, it does underscore some of the behavior the All-Pro receiver exhibited that earned him a reputation as a problem child and ultimately led to his ouster from the Bills.

Diggs had a tumultuous four-year run in Buffalo, one that will be remembered for post-game tantrums and closed-door feud with quarterback Josh Allen that nobody in the organization talked about but knew was a growing behind-the-scenes problem.

In fact, Allen’s recent remarks when asked about Diggs say everything one needs to know about their relationship.

“Stef's a great player and what he brought to the team was special,” Allen said . “I don't know if I'd say [I] miss [him]. He was a guy who was reliable, you can look to. He's going to have the juice every and every day. I'm sure he's bringing it over there in Houston. So definitely, you can't say that you don't miss that. But I'm very happy with what we got going on here and how hard the guys have been working.”
