Josiah Sanders has narrowed his list of schools down to five, including Stanford

Stanford could be closing in on one of its top basketball targets for the 2025 recruiting cycle as combo guard Josiah Sanders has narrowed down his list of programs to five. Sanders is down to Stanford, Colorado, Tennessee, San Diego State, and Northwestern.

Sanders is a three-star recruit per 247Sports , and he's ranked as the 16th-best combo guard in the 2025 class. The Denver native is also ranked as the top player from the state of Colorado in his class.

He has offers from 18 programs but has yet to take an official visit. He has planned visits to those top five schools in the fall and plans on committing before the early November signing period.

"I already have a good relationship with all the coaches," Sanders said. "They're all solid options but I'll be seeing what the campus looks like and how I can envision myself playing there for my college career."
