Rookie tight end Brock Bowers made his first appearance as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday.

The No. 13 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft started his professional career in perfect fashion, as he turned a six-yard pass from Raiders quarterback Aiden O'Connell into a 16-yard first down with 5:16 remaining on the team's opening drive.

As the Raiders offense continued to push the ball downfield, it only took three more plays before Bowers made his presence known once again. And as we've seen from the Georgia playmaker in the past, he's always going to find different ways to make life harder for the opponent. It appears the Raiders are willing to accommodate their young star's inordinate skill set.

On Bowers' second reception, the Raiders lined him up at fullback. O'Connell targeted him in the flat, which nearly went for a touchdown.

Other key members of the Raiders gave a quality showing, as well. O'Connell and veteran backup Gardner Minshew combined for 193 yards passing, one touchdown and zero turnovers through one half. Starting running back Zamir White contributed six carries for 23 yards and one touchdown to help the Raiders lead 20-7 before they made lineup changes.

Bowers finished just third on the team in receiving, but the flashes of his potential were overtly present on just a few plays, and so far the Raiders know exactly what they're doing with the offense.
