The New York Yankees went out and traded for Jazz Chisholm Jr. at the trade deadline, and the early returns are nothing short of outstanding.

The former Miami Marlins star is hitting .300 with the Bronx Bombers along with seven long balls in just 12 games. After registering four hits and a stolen base in Saturday's doubleheader against the Texas Rangers, Chisholm joined the 20-20 club for the first time in his big league career, per Gary Phillips.

The 26-year-old has gone deep 20 times this year while swiping 25 bags. He smacked 19 long balls in 2024 in 97 games. Chisholm has provided the Yankees with a spark in the middle of their lineup. He's also played great defense at third base and in the outfield.

New York is 10-4 since Chisholm arrived. They're also 7-3 in their last 10 contests and have started to turn things around after hitting a cold spell.
