Is Miles McBride the Knicks' Best Kept Secret?

The New York Knicks are one of the deepest teams in the entire NBA, as they have some guys coming off their bench that can play just as good as a lot of team's starters.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Grant Hughes , he lists who he thinks is every NBA team's best kept secret. For the Knicks, he believes that player is backup point guard Miles McBride.

"The Knicks are now deeper than they were a year ago, so we'll see if head coach Tom Thibodeau tries to test the limits of McBride's stamina again," Hughes writes. "Even if he returns to a smaller role, the gritty guard deserves more recognition."

This past season saw a big jump in McBride's minutes per game, and he did not let that extra playing time go to waste.

He averaged eight points per game on some solid shooting percentages over the course of the season. McBride shot less than 30 percent from three in both of his first two seasons in the league, but that trend came to an end when he shot over 40 percent from beyond the arc this past season.

If McBride can further improve his game, then he could prove to be an even better backup for Jalen Brunson than many thought he could be.
