AUG 10 SIMILAR TO TYREEK The Kansas City Chiefs could be without one of their new weapons for a few weeks, as Marquise Brown suffered a shoulder injury on his very first catch. Additionally, it sounds like the team has had some previous experience with this same injury before.

Head coach Andy Reid told reporters that Brown was taken to a hospital with a sternoclavicular joint dislocation, which is very similar to what former Tyreek Hill dealt with in 2019.

The former Chiefs star missed four weeks after his injury, but the team was able to go 3-1 while he was off the field. However, the team will be hoping that their newest weapon will not be out that long.

AUG 10 LB SIGNED Darius Harris, the former Kansas City Chiefs backup, is making the move to the Dallas Cowboys.Harris, 28, has contributed on and off with the Chiefs since going undrafted in 2019.

The 6-2, 238-pounder figures as a camp body for Dallas at this time but does have enough experience - the Chiefs lifted him last winter from the Raiders practice squad so he was part of their run to the Super Bowl - to maybe help on special teams for the Cowboys.

AUG 6 NO CHRIS OR CLYDE Chris Jones (shoulder) and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) are among the Chiefs who didn't work at camp on Tuesday.

“Chris Jones got a little tweak to his shoulder, stinger type thing, so he came out for a little bit," coach Andy Reid said before the absence.

And in CEH's case? Edwards-Helaire has recently shared details about about his struggles with PTSD, which is assumed to be his issue here.

Additionally, Kelvin Joseph (hamstring), Nick Bolton (elbow) and Jaaron Hayek (shoulder) didn’t practice for the Chiefs, while Derrick Nnadi was activated from PUP and was able to participate in today’s practice.

AUG 6 ONE MORE TACO? Taco Charlton, "over-drafted'' with the 28th pick back in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, keeps trying to find a way to stick.

And now Taco - who has spend some time, on and off, as a Chiefs helper, is asking for something ..."Just need 1 more chance,'' Taco tweeted over the weekend.

Most recently, Charlton, still just 29, was with the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL, and he finished this past season with six sacks and 14 total tackles.

Can all of that mean one more chance for Taco?

JULY 31 WR MOVES Byron Pringle, who helped the Chiefs win a Super Bowl in 2019, is re-upping with Washington, as the Commanders made a move on Wednesday likely designed to help bolster their special teams.

That is where Pringle, 30, had his role there last year, as he played in all 17 games for Washington in 2023.While in Kansas City, though, in 2021, Pringle did put up some numbers when caught 42 passes for 568 yards with five touchdowns.

Pringle also earned himself a Super Bowl ring from his time with the Chiefs as part od the team in 2019.
