Eagles Injury Report: Banged Up Roster Hits Practice Field

The Philadelphia Eagles have returned to the practice field Sunday after their preseason victory in Baltimore.

While the organization is coming off a preseason win, there are still some concerns for the roster going into the second week - most importantly on the injury side.

Philadelphia has eight players either not practicing or suiting up in full capacity Sunday according to reporters on site. The full list can be found here and courtesy of the Philadelphia Inquirer's own Jeff McLane .

    WILL NOT PRACTICE

    Oren Burks - knee

    Grant Calcaterra - shoulder

    Parris Campbell - groin

    CJ Gardner-Johnson - shoulder

    Albert Okwuegbunam - abdomen

    LIMITED

    Mehki Garner - hamstring

Patrick Johnson - lower leg contusion

    Brandon Smith - concussion

It is important to note that while Sunday's practice will not see almost a 10th of the roster, most of these injuries are not considered serious and the team should be back at full strength relatively soon.

Still, it doesn't take away from the fact that Philadelphia's clean injury history as of late may be coming to an end.

At the very least, it forces other players to try and step up in some of the starters absences as this point in practice and the preseason.
