Is Diggs Already a Problem for Texans?

    By Mike Fisher,

It's a terrible mistake to use sideline footage of a preseason game - and body language guessing - to frame Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs as an "already problem.''

But away we go, into territory that the Buffalo Bills know well.

A video on social media from Houston’s 20-12 preseason win over the Steelers on Friday shows Diggs in what we can at the very least characterize as an "animated'' state.

    Is that fair?

Is he really "venting angrily'' at second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud?

Is that fair? midway through the first quarter.

Houston's first-team offense started the game Diggs wasn't targeted once.

Surely that's not upsetting to him already ... right?

During Diggs' time in Buffalo, and before that in Minnesota, he surely - to put it kindly - wore his emotion on his sleeve. And no matter what the Bills say, that is at least part of the reason that the gifted receiver was this off season shuffled off from Buffalo and to Houston.

For his time in Buffalo, QB Josh Allen and others said all the right things about Diggs. But more recently? When asked if Allen "misses'' the receiver, the QB spoke carefully but frankly.

“Stef's a great player and what he brought to the team was special,'' Allen said. “I don't know if I'd say 'miss' ... He was a guy who was reliable, you can look to. He's going to have the juice every and every day. I'm sure he's bringing it over there in Houston. So definitely, you can't say that you don't miss that.

"But I'm very happy with what we got going on here and how hard the guys have been working.”
