The Buffalo Bills may not have produced the outcome that they wanted in their 33-6 loss to the Chicago Bears, but one player did have a moment that he won't soon forget.

Rookie receiver Keon Coleman had the first catch of his NFL career in the second quarter, an accomplishment that he hopes is the first of many that he has throughout his time in Buffalo.

The rookie gave his reaction to the catch following the game and expressed his eagerness to build off of it.

"It was great," said Coleman. "First time for everything, hoping there’s plenty more... I’ve got a job to do. Come in, make plays, and help us win. I’m just eager to do that every day."

Coleman continued, discussing his thoughts on his first live game action.

"It was a little taste," said Coleman. "I think two drives, but I’m looking forward to everything else that’s going to come in the regular season and the rest of the preseason."

Coleman, a rookie out of Florida State, was selected by the Bills with the first pick of the second round in the 2024 draft. Following the departures of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the offseason, the Bills are in need of new receivers to step up and bring some explosiveness to the offense. Bills Mafia is hoping that Coleman is that player following a strong training camp.

Fans can expect to see Coleman get some more game action when the Bills take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second preseason game on Saturday.
