Brandon Aiyuk Trade to Commanders? Washington Among Favorites, Say Oddsmakers

News reports don't really put the Washington Commanders "above the fold'' when it comes to being in contention for trading for Brandon Aiyuk sweepstakes.

But the oddsmakers see it differently.

The disgruntled San Francisco 49ers wide receiver is apparently back at the negotiating table with his present employer, and if they forge a deal that pays him in excess of $30 million APY?

No trade.

If their talks hit the skids again?

He's already vetoed a trade to the Cleveland Browns. And the Pittsburgh Steelers' offer to the Niners? They thought they were close to landing the fifth-year wide receiver ... until the Steelers reportedly asked for "too much'' in trade.

So what about the Commanders?

According to BetUS Pro Football , the Commanders have the second-best odds to acquire land Aiyuk, should he move on from the 49ers.

Washington has +250 odds to land the standout. The Steelers have +200 odds to get him.

The Commanders being linked to Aiyuk is familiar territory, much of it fueled by his much-ballyhooed friendship with Washington's No. 2 overall selection and hoped-for franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels.

On paper, Aiyuk, Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson would give Daniels some impressive weaponry. But beware, as so far, "on paper'' is as far as this has gone.
