A few years ago, Aaron Rodgers found himself in hot water. At the height of the COVID pandemic, the then-Green Bay Packers star quarterback told reporters that he was "immunized." That term eventually led to speculation and rumors about Rodgers that lasted for the entire season.

Speaking to author Ian O'Connor in an interview for his biography, Rodgers talked about that time of his career. The New York Jets quarterback said that he regrets using the term "immunized," as it became ammunition for his critics.

"If there's one thing I wish could have gone different, it's that, because that's the only thing [critics] could hit me with," Rodgers said.

Early in the 2021 season, Rodgers told reporters that he was "immunized" against COVID-19. Later in the season, the star quarterback tested positive for COVID and had to sit for at least ten days, the requirement for unvaccinated players then.

Rodgers attempted to appeal for his homeopathic treatment to count as him getting vaccinated, to no avail. The quarterback would face backlash due to his remarks.

The quarterback would play one more season with the Packers before joining the Jets in free agency. Rodgers, one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation, is looking for redemption after his debut season with the Jets ended abruptly due to an Achilles tear.
