    Rece Davis Reveals His AP Preseason Top 25 Ballot

    ESPN broadcaster and "College GameDay" host Rece Davis has submitted his ballot for the preseason AP Top 25 rankings in college football for 2024.

    The full rankings are out and you can view them here or at the bottom of the page; meanwhile, Davis' own set of the top 25 teams in the preseason is already out. Just below, you can see his full top-25 as we barrel toward the start of the 2024 college football season.

    So, Davis goes chalk at the top and agrees with the AP's top four teams, just with Oregon and Texas swapped. Meanwhile, his hottest takes are Kansas as the top Big 12 team all the way up at No. 14, plus having Oklahoma unrated when they came in at 16th in the actual poll.

    Otherwise, Memphis is a somewhat controversial inclusion after they were largely ignored on other ballots, while five Big 12 teams rank in the top 20, all coming in between 14th and 20th.
