Kevin Durant Mocks Dennis Schroder After Gold Medal Win

Kevin Durant is the definition of always online. If someone tweets about the former Golden State Warriors superstar, he likely saw it. Furthermore, there is a high chance Durant will respond, typically with an insult. Following Team USA's 17-point comeback vs. Serbia, Durant spent precious time responding to "anti-Team USA" tweets, as he quote-tweeted an array of accounts.

"European is no entertainment, straight IQ basketball," Germany's Dennis Schroder said, concluding his comments by admitting the NBA is the best in the world.

However, Durant reacted to Schroder's opening line.

After Team USA won gold against France, Durant took a shot at Germany's Dennis Schroder, as the point guard made light of the IQ of the NBA.

It's fitting that Durant feels slighted, as he is the all-time scorer for Team USA, both men's and women's. Coming off the bench for all the games except the gold medal contest vs. France, Durant led the second unit and saved the first unit on many occasions.

Durant's 5-5 three-point shooting line vs. the first match vs. Serbia encompasses how much the Phoenix Suns star means to Team USA.

In six games, Durant averaged 13.8 points on 51.9 three-point shooting percentage. As a mismatch nightmare, Durant seamlessly fit with most lineups for which Steve Kerr experimented.

Team USA took a picture after the gold medal victory over France, with Durant captioning the image, mocking Schroder's recent comments.
