Randy Dobnak’s latest stint with the Minnesota Twins is over.

On Monday, the club officially optioned Dobnak to Triple-A St. Paul and reinstated left-handed reliever Steven Okert from the bereavement list.

Okert missed Minnesota’s last seven games. This season, he’s 3-1 with a 4.45 ERA and 30 strikeouts, 14 walks and one save across 30.1 innings.

Dobnak, who hadn’t pitched in the majors since September 2021, made his return to the Twins on July 30. Working in a relief role, he allowed five runs over 7.2 innings while striking out seven and walking five.

The Twins are back in action Monday night as the Kansas City Royals come to town. First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m.
