Eagles Watch Haason Reddick Request Trade From Afar

It appears that the foresight of Howie Roseman as general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles has once again allowed him to come out on top of a trade without a down even being played.

With Haason Reddick's latest trade request from the New York Jets, just four months after he requested a trade from the Eagles, Philadelphia has officially turned the page on the All-Pro edge rusher and can watch him demand his money from afar.

And what they have seen is next-level comedy hour.

When the Jets gave the Eagles a 2026 conditional third-round pick, the team failed to come to an agreement with Reddick on a long-term extension.

Instead of holding off on the trade, New York went through with it anyway - allowing the Eagles to wipe their hands clean of Reddick's contract situation.

Now, the mess falls firmly at the Jets' feet with Reddick not only wanting a new deal but using what little leverage he has left to demand a trade again.

It's rare territory for a player to request a trade twice in one offseason but Reddick is looking for a new deal after accumulating over $1 million in fines to this point and having no guaranteed money on his current contract.

In short, the Jets have a mess on their hands and the Eagles should sit back and enjoy that it isn't them dealing with it.
