Malika Andrews and folks across the Los Angeles region were dealt a scare when a 4.7 magnitude earthquake rocked the city on Monday afternoon.

When the earthquake struck, Andrews was in the middle of a conversation with Rebecca Lobo for NBA Today on ESPN.

She handled the situation like a pro, though, and didn't really miss a beat despite the serious incident. With a clip of her going viral on social media, Andrews took a second to address the situation with a quick post on X, formerly Twitter, once she was off the air.

As if her job wasn't already hard enough, Andrews had to battle the fear that naturally comes with being in a location where there's an earthquake by remaining composed since she was on live television.

As you can see in the clip, though, she handled it in a way that not too many folks could, and thankfully, it doesn't seem like anyone in the building was harmed as a result of this earthquake.

It's safe to say this was certainly a scary event for folks in Los Angeles, but judging by Andrews' handling of the situation on NBA Today, you never would have known it was anything out of the norm.
