Tyreek: I’m 'For Sure' Better Than Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was surprisingly not ranked as the best player in the NFL Top 100 this season, as it was his former teammate.

Miami Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill was ranked as the best player in the league by his peers, and he recently gave his thoughts on if he was a better player than Mahomes.

"Yeah, for sure!" Hill said in a recent appearance on the Up & Adams Show . "Pat is great... They won two back-to-back Super Bowls, they did their thing, right? Now you look at me. Two back-to-back 1,700 [-yard seasons], Pro Bowl, All-Pro... And I'm doing this at 5'8"... A lot of people said I couldn't be a receiver, and here I am doing this."

Saying you are better than Mahomes is a very bold statement, but if one player can say that, it is absolutely Hill.

He finished this past season with an absurd 1799 yards, and he could have beat Calvin Johnson's record for most yards in a season if it wasn't for an ankle injury he suffered against the Tennessee Titans. He was also tied for the most receiving touchdowns with Mike Evans with 13.

Hill is more likely to poke and prod at Mahomes, as the two played together for five seasons. With that being said, a statement like this could lead to some interesting regular season matches between the two stars.
