Kevin Durant went to the 2024 Paris Olympics with three Olympic gold medals and was not only able to leave with a fourth, but he also departed Paris with a major investment opportunity.

According to a statement by Boardroom Sports, a media company created by the NBA superstar, Durant is also leaving Paris with a minority stake in the iconic soccer club, Paris Saint-Germain. The news comes after Durant helped lead Team USA to a gold medal win over the host of the Olympics, France, for the second straight Olympics.

In a post on the app formerly known as Twitter , Boardroom revealed when the relationship between Durant and PSG initially got going,  writing:

"Earlier this month, Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi welcomed Durant and his long-time business partner, entrepreneur @richkleiman to the Paris Saint-Germain Campus to kick off the partnership with a visit to the Club’s state-of-the-art training facility and education centre."

As for Durant's media network, Boardroom, they will be working with the club on future content creation and strategic collaborations, as written in the post:

"Durant and Kleiman’s sports and entertainment media network Boardroom will work with Paris Saint-Germain to develop a multi-faceted collaboration that spans content and strategy."

During Saturday's gold medal game on August 10, Durant added a crucial 15 points, four assists, and four rebounds in the 98-87 gold medal win over France. His fourth gold medal is a historic one as well, as it made him the first men's player to win four golds in men's Olympic basketball.

As for his new investment, PSG plays in Ligue 1, France's top league. The club has been quite dominant, winning the league 10 times since the 2012-2013 season, including the past three seasons. According to The Athletic , the investment is in the “single-digit million dollar range." Aside from the world-renowned club, Durant is also invested in another soccer team in the Philadelphia Union of the MLS.

While Durant's gold medal was a historic one, it may not be his final one. When asked about whether or not he'd play in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics following Saturday's game, Durant had a two-word response.

"We'll see," Durant said to the media.

Durant has been on every U.S. Olympic team since 2012 and came into the tournament leading the USA in all-time total points, scoring average, field goals, 3-point field goals, and free throws. While he would be around 40 by the time the 2028 games roll around, the program would likely love his experience on a team that will likely be ushering in a new era of stars at the Olympics for Team USA.

All in all, Durant seemed to have a great time in Paris.
