Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is far from the only legend who has further cemented his legacy after a highly successful run in the Paris Olympics.

Much like the NBA's all-time leading scorer, another basketball icon came home from the Summer Games with yet another historic feat. This is after WNBA icon Diana Taurasi bagged her sixth gold medal following Team USA's first-place finish in the women's 5x5 tournament.

Taurasi's epic achievement drew some pretty high praise from her shoe sponsor, Nike -- a powerful message that LeBron himself has reinforced.

"Can't spell dynasty without 'D'" the post read.

James liked the statement so much that he decided to share it on his own Instagram account.

Taurasi, 42, previously announced that this was going to be her last appearance in the Summer Games. The Phoenix Mercury star made sure to close out her international career in style as she's now become the most decorated American basketball player -- male or female -- in Olympic history.

LeBron isn't too far behind with his four Olympic medals (three golds and a bronze) but even James himself won't be touching this legendary record from Taurasi.
