    Precious Achiuwa is Lion King

AUG. 12 LION KING Although you could argue that New York is the concrete jungle, Zambia, Africa, has an actual jungle. Following a playoff run that saw the New York Knicks beat the Philadelphia 76ers and take the Indiana Pacers seven games, it seems Precious Achiuwa's thrill meter didn't match the minimum.

Perhaps to help with the void in his life, the backup Knicks center walked two lions in Zambia while helping with a basketball camp. Achuiwa's teammates found it both impressive and insane.

Josh Hart commented on Achuiwa's risky activity on his Instagram: "That boy Pertusa going crazy."

Achuiwa did it for the "Gram," as he captioned the social media post with “Real killers but we tryna make your nervous system feel safe."

While it may appear cool on social media, such an action could have ended horribly for the backup center.

The Celtics, who will host the Knicks on Oct. 22. ... on a night when we assume the Celtics will raise Banner No. 18 and receive their rings befitting their NBA Finals win.

The Celtics ruled last year from wire to wire, no doubt. Meanwhile, the Knicks finished second in the Eastern Conference last season behind the Celtics.

Jalen Brunson-led New York traded for Mikal Bridges during the offseason to muscle up in their chances of surpassing Boston this year.
