One of the areas that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could use the most work is their cornerback room, and they could get a long-term solution in the 2025 NFL Draft.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report , they go over each NFL team's biggest weaknesses, and they propose players that could help them. For the reigning NFC South champions, they think they could take Arizona cornerback Tacario Davis in next year's draft to bolster their secondary.

"Tacario Davis is a true junior prospect who burst onto the scene in 2023 as one of the most talented cornerback prospects in college football," The Draft Network's Keith Sanchez wrote. "Davis is an instinctual corner who utilizes his 6-foot-4 frame to disrupt receivers in all phases of the game, showing to be an impactful defender on the perimeter of the defense."

Jamel Dean is the team's best cornerback, but there is a bit of a drop-off after him. If the team wants to be able to contend for years to come, getting a long-term answer at corner could be a great idea.

Davis finished his sophomore season at Arizona with an interception, 25 total tackles, and a solid 15 passes defended. But the most impressive thing about him is his 6-4 frame at the corner position, which gives him a big advantage when it comes to jump balls and contested catches.

If the Buccaneers decide they need a long-term solution in their secondary, then a prospect like Davis could be an intriguing option.
