Anthony Edwards' One-Word Message to Steph Curry After Gold Medal Game Against France

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry had one of the best moments of his basketball career in the 2024 Paris Olympics gold medal game. A four-time NBA champion, Curry has played in numerous big games, but his performance against France is one of his most iconic.

Finishing with 24 points, Curry erupted for four threes late in the fourth quarter, ending France's comeback attempt in just over two minutes of game time.

Tallying 60 points in the final two games of this tournament, Curry finished the 2024 Olympics as Team USA's leading scorer. Beginning the summer five for his first 20 from three-point range, Curry finished the Olympics 22 for 46 from deep.

Curry's fourth quarter performance in this game had his teammates in awe. Despite being on the court with several other all-time greats, Curry turned his teammates into fans as he took over the game.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was one of the players on the bench for Curry's dagger, and the 23-year-old guard had a one-word message after the game.

"Him," Edwards commented under Curry's Instagram post .

Edwards had a good showing at the Paris Olympics, averaging 12.8 points on an impressive 58.0 percent from the field.

Edwards, one of the best young players in the NBA, will be a big part of USA Basketball's future.

Teammates just for the summer, Edwards and Curry will go back to being opponents in the Western Conference next season. While this may be the only time these two stars play together, they made it count with a gold medal.
