The Cowboys moved away from Bryant in the spring after having him on the practice squad, a notable comeback for the player who talked openly about having returned from "a dark place'' in terms of the behavior that got him in deep and long-term trouble with the league.

The Cowboys cut former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Bryant back then …

But now the Cowboys’ former defensive coordinator Quinn - the new head coach in Washington - have given Bryant a tryout. ... and it's worked out.

Bryant, 32, was originally a fourth-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2014. … and he showed star quality there as he used his 6-4 frame effectively.

He was traded to the then-Oakland Raiders in 2018 … but his career is pockmarked with suspensions as he spend almost a half-decade out of the game.
