Jordan Chiles Receives Special Gift From Music Icon Amidst Medal Drama

With all the medal drama surrounding U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles right now, American rapper and music icon Flavor Flav gifted Chiles a custom bronze clock necklace.

If you haven't been following the controversy, Jordan Chiles won a bronze medal alongside Simone Biles , who won silver, and Brazilian gymnast Rebecca Andrade , who won gold. Six full days went by, then the International Olympic Committee stepped in and announced they were stripping Chiles of her bronze medal and rewarding it to Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu.

Jordan's initial score in the women's individual floor exercise was 13.666, but after the U.S. coach challenged it, they bumped it up to 13.766 following a review. Which then earned her bronze.

Later, creating a ton of controversy on the Romanian side as well. Romanian officials questioned the challenge rule, saying it happened too late. Beyond the 1-minute deadline. Which Olympic officials and the Court of Arbitration later agreed with. Which led to them stripping Chiles of her medal.

The easiest solution here would be to give both athletes a bronze medal after all the controversy the Olympic committee has put them under. But that doesn't seem to be the case at this point in time. Chile and the U.S. are expected to continue fighting for her sake.
